KAMU-TV

KAMU-TV is the Public Television (PBS) station for College Station/Bryan and the Brazos Valley. KAMU was the first local television station to broadcast and produce local programming in high definition. A number of Brazos Valley cable television systems also carry KAMU programming.

KAMU's state-of-the-art high definition Studio A is the largest broadcast television and video production studio between Houston and Dallas. Our Studio M is equipped with an instructor's workstation and blue-screen background for the production of video-based courses and course components. These studio facilities and on-site production capabilities are available to the University community for contract academic, research and outreach video production.

KAMU-TV produces local Public Television programming and a wide array of academic, research, event and outreach videos each year. The KAMU professional production staff maintains the tools and expertise to produce video ranging from complex high definition television programs to simple video podcasts.

KAMU-TV also operates the Brazos Valley's only satellite uplink and has fiber optic and Internet facilities for transmitting programs worldwide. The station also provides satellite and Internet-based video reception for the university campus.
